Who is Serge Tapche ...?
Serge Tapche, known as Sersha, is a young Cameroonian artist whose privileged mediums of expression are music, singing and painting. He obtained a GCE in the city of Bamenda in Cameroon in 2007. Self-taught, he integrated the Cameroonian visual arts landscape through specialized training in the Art-Keo workshops of the artist Jean-Jacques Kante and Émile Youmbi.
Musician-singer, Serge Tapche is inspired by many musical styles such as reggae, soul, jazz which have earned him the prestige of being a finalist in the musical program The Voice Africa of the TV channel Vox Africa.
SERSHA's works evoke the family, the stages of life, love, the strength and tenderness of the bond, courage, patience, kindness as cardinal virtues of the heart.
With authenticity and determination he paints, he says without concrete forms without faces, family life situations.
To paint these scenes of life as a return to our roots, interwoven with maturity and kaleidoscopic identity wisdom.
A universe imbued with love and ancestral memory to seize the chance to return to the source, with a particular style that SERSHA likes to call "Tchassah" in an intimate and penetrating inner journey.
